Dear Dancing Lights Families,
It is with great pleasure that we present our 2011 Spring Recital , Your children have been working very hard to learn their recital dances and are looking forward to showing you their progress. I am sending you our Recital Packet. It answers, in detail, all of your recital questions (ticket sales, pictures, rehearsal, etc). Please take the time to read through it thoroughly and place any pertinent dates on your calendars! We wouldn’t want you to miss any of the fun.
We are back at Middletown High School for RECITAL. YEAH!!!! Please read through the packet thoroughly and return the agreement during your Mothers Visitation Week (April 26th - 30th). I mention it several times throughout the packet as a reminder…NO MEN or SIBLINGS (except nursing infants) are allowed during Dress Rehearsal or Recital.
We have made one very important change in our recital procedure. We require that a parent is present in the building during the recital. We need to be able to get you immediately in case of an emergency. This is for your child’s safety.
Here are the important dates that you need to put on your calendars:
Mothers Visitation – – this is the only time to video tape
Ticket Sales – via mail
Portraits – Sunday, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
(see packet for your scheduled time)
Dress Rehearsal – Early Show & Both Show Dancers – June 2, 2011 – from 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Late Show & Both Show Dancers – June 3, 2011 – from 4:00pm – 9:00pm
Recital – Saturday, June 4, 2011– Early Show & Both Show – 11:00 (arrival)
Late Show – 2:00 (arrival)

NO SIBLINGS ALLOWED DURING DRESS REHEARSAL OR BACK STAGE DURING RECITAL
NO MEN ARE ALLOWED DURING DRESS REHEARSAL or BACK STAGE DURING RECITAL
You will be asked to leave (pictures, rehearsal, recital) if these rules are not followed.
We do make an exception for nursing infants.
IMPORTANT NOTICE - If your child has a medical or behavioral issue, you are REQUIRED to be a backstage mom. This is for the safety of your child.
